“My wife and I were in Sheffield on business earlier this month (staying two nights at the Sheffield Hilton). Internet research prior to our visit threw up Cubana as an interesting alternative to the usual Indian/Chinese/Thai restaurants... "I had my 30th birthday party at Cubana on a Sunday afternoon/evening. I booked it for 4 pm onwards, with salsa lesson at 5pm and buffet at 6pm. The salsa instructor was fantastic and got things going, and the lesson was great fun. It got everyone talking and dancing and soon all were enjoying themselves. Not everyone wanted to dance but the on-lookers where having a good time too, mainly laughing at our efforts!! The buffet was lovely and many of the guests commented on how good the food was, and I certainly enjoyed it. The rest of evening Cubana's Latin Dj played a mix of Salsa and funky disco. The layout for Cubana certainly suited this type of party as there is a good dance floor and also an area to eat. The bar staff were excellent. Cubana owner Adrian Bagnoli organised the event for me, and this made it effortless!

Overall, I would definitely recommend Cubana for a party. I enjoy this music, food and salsa dancing, but even those who had their first attempt at salsa dancing said what a great time they had. I could not stop smiling throughout the whole night. Thanks to everyone at Cubana!"

"Cubana has a great lively atmosphere! The Salsa music is impossible to sit still to and the staff are friendly. The menu consists mainly of tapas and the restaurant area is a couple of steps up from the dance floor/bar so you can enjoy your meal away from the crowds whilst still being in the hub of the party. I've had some great nights in Cubana and would recommend it to anyone wanting a break from the usual"
